Mounted on a nicely figured, fish scale checkered walnut pistol grip stock with floral scroll and game scene carvings, contrasting horn forend tip, carved horn grip cap, raised shadowline cheekpiece, sling swivels and a serrated horn buttplate. There is a Hensoldt Wetzlar Ziel Dialyt 8x scope with matching claw mounts. There is a blade front sight and no provisions for a rear sight. There is an engraved claw mount on the barrel and a claw mount on the receiver bridge. To mount a larger scope, I found some Leupold rings, probably on ebay. So, I think I would stick with the mediums (or high if you have a scope with a large objective). They limit the ocular lens to about 1.4' outside diameter in order to clear the bolt handle when opened. There is also silver wire inlay around the outside edges of the trigger guard and floor plate. I have a '68/'69 L461 with the above 'low' rings. The whole rifle looks pretty good really, very few dings in the stock & the bluing is real nice.
