↳ Amateur Radio - General Topics and Discussion I also ordered from eBay a '3 IN 1 Programming Cable' which is an RPC-M300 or a clone of that unit (see photos below to find a similar unit) which had the RJ-45 Crystal plug or whatever Motorola calls their RJ45 connector on the GM300 radio.

I've not managed to find any download links for this fantastic software or any further info in regards to where to find the software. I came across something in yahoo called Radio Doctor witch is Windows based and apparently runs under XP on a modern computer and it allows you to add more channels to the radio. I'm assuming that MS-DOS versions won't work for the GM300 that I have however I've not found any windows versions of the software. I've downloaded several GM300 programming files none of them have worked the software can't read the radio.

Note: If you have an existing serial port on your computer, just plug your Motorola RIB to the computer and the Motorola programming cable to the RIB and your transceiver. Finally, attach the programming cable to the RIB and your transceiver. Attach the Motorola RIB to the USB Serial Port Adapter. The radio looks brand new witch has nothing programmed into it, it has never been used. Plug in your USB Serial Port Adapter to your computer. I have a Motorola GM300 that I've been trying to reprogram for a while.
